SYLVIE CHOQUETTE, Senior Designer/Project Coordinator

With over 25 years in the construction and kitchen industry, Sylvie’s expertise shines in her creative and functional designs, her artistry and creativity, and her love of working with homeowners to make sure you get the space you want. Sylvie takes time to listen to your needs and design preferences to learn how your tastes and lifestyle will affect her designs. This allows her to recommend alternatives to make sure you get the perfect design by optimizing your space, incorporating your ideas, and fitting your budget.

SHAWN MCLACHLIN, Owner/Cabinet Maker

Shawn founded Sandy Beach Cabinetry from his desire to create elegant woodwork for kitchens and bathrooms, while maintaining a personal connection with all his clients. His love of woodworking can be seen in the quality of his custom cabinetry and millwork.

One of Shawn’s ancestors founded McLachlin Sawmills in Arnprior in the mid-nineteenth century. He has continued the family passion, developing his leadership and expertise in the kitchen and cabinetry business for over 30 years. Working mostly with referral clients, Shawn has completed hundreds of projects throughout Ottawa and the Ottawa Valley.
